Normanner Mjød – Fresh & sour balance
Freshly pressed apple juice is put through the same brewing process as Mjødladen's mjød – up to about 6% alc.vol, giving a sour wine with sweet notes, which is then mixed with freshly brewed Lager Mead at about 6% alc.vol. This mixed brew is then ferments to 6% alc.vol.
This offers a fresh and sour taste experience, where the crisp taste of apple harmonizes with the gentle sweetness of honey. This drink is a true fusion of mead and fruit wines, which provides a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness – a drink that can both be enjoyed neat and lift food experiences and cocktails to new heights.
